I had to get an official cable especially after reading reviews of how non official cables can over charge your phone or tablet and reduce the life of the device. You pay a little extra but it's worth it.

You get what yo pay for. This is a little more pricey than the off brands, but it will last longer and it is faster than those cheaper brands. Worth the price in the end though.

To be fair this gets a lot of use almost constant in my vehicle. The wire sheath has already separated from the connector showing the wire strands. It will fail eventually. These cables are expensive. I expect them to last forever under normal use.

I have bought many of these from sites such as eBay and Amazon and have not had much success with those lasting. The genuine products is the way to go, as much as it pains the tight wad in me to say.

Good quality, I don’t buy any brand but Apple. They last a good while!

Apple Chargers for Apple products are a little pricey, but they work great! No more cheap chargers for me!!

I needed an additional cable to keep plugged into my Mac Mini at work to charge my phone and this was the perfect length. I'm also a bit of an accessory snob, so I prefer to buy official Apple products.

I bought this cable as a replacement to the original one that broke for my iPhone 5s. I generally stay with the original manufacturer's accessories even though they are more expensive than third-party versions to avoid any compatibility issues. I am glad that Best Buy has a good price-matching policy.

I never have had any problems with the charger. It charges my phone fast. The only thing I would change is the price.

I have had no problems with the apple products. It is always a good purchase. We have multiple people in our household therefore I have to keep purchasing this cord because they keep disappearing.
