It didn't but, the charge wasn't the best. So, went into Best Buy site for an official Apple charger and wow, it is way better than that other cable. Apple for Apple should be their motto. If used, can I have an iPhone 7 for compensation? lol

Excellent connection

This Apple lightening cable that I purchased from Bestbuy is solid and not flimsy like the others. The connection fits secure and it seems to charge quicker than my other cables. I highly recommend this product.
