I have bought the $5.00 specials at other discount stores and I have to say that they are a waste of money. They last between a week and a month until they either stop working or you get the Apple warning saying that only apple products are recommended. When I started getting this message the cord would stop working after a few more connections. This one has been working for about two months without a hiccup. Don't like the "Apple tax" fore something I believe should be cheaper in price but other than that I am happy.

The 3.3 foot lightening to USB cable is only 3.3 feet long. Did I mention it's only 3.3 feet long? Yet it's long enough to reach from an outlet to my phone. The six footer cord is quite too long. A perfect size might be 4 feet. Oh well, this cord is a cord and it is small enough I can keep it in a backpack as a spare cord.

Great length! I like it! I use it with my iPad and iPhone. It is long enough to plug into outlet and use without being uncomfortable.

Buying the cable from Apple is a lot easier then buying $5 cable elsewhere that usually stops working after a couple days.

I was on a road trip and my phone decided to die. My little cheap charger that I had decided it didnt want to work, and I was tired of buying the cheap ones because they keep not working. I decided to go online and do a store pickup for a charger. This is amazing, and unlike the cheap chargers, it works, and keeps working!

I've used aftermarket charging cords in the past and had problems. Apple's cord is the only one compatible with Lifeproof cases.

Authentic Apple Cables are the way to go. Get the longer ones especially when then are on sale for your office car or backpack.

In my opinion, don't waste your money on cheap chargers. Apple Phone charger is the only way to go when charging an Apple product.

When using this USB cable I do not have to worry about inserting the cable the right way. The cable can be inserted either way.

My original cord got bent up too much and was no longer functioning, so I got this replacement, which should last another 2 years.

buying an authorized apple product is the only way to go. don't purchase knockoffs even if they're cheaper. they're not worth it

I was out of town and did not have my ipad cable and I was able to just go to Best Buy where I was and get one. And it has worked great!
