Needed to purchase a charger and the guy said I should purchase this one and I can also charge it in my car with a different tool.

This phone cord works great with iPhone 5. There are no problems with it charging intermittently like some of the aftermarket cords.

Apple chargers are the best quality chargers for iPhone. I have purchased many off brand iPhone chargers before and they all break, become loose, or just stop charging after 2-3 months, but the Apple chargers last me way longer. The only reason I have had to buy more of them is because I misplace them.

The Apple Lightning Cable is reliable for charging iphones and iPad, but for $20 it could be twice as long and Apple could still make a ton of money off it. When I plug it into my bedside power strip on the floor (which is too big and disorderly to fit on the night table) the Apple cord barely reaches my reclined position near the side of the bed, phone attached. Also, the ends of the cable where they attach to the tiny connectors could be reinforced so there is less breakage at either base. I have a $5 cord from a discount chain that is more durable but I like getting my Best Buy rewards, so I buy Apple.

I use the cord for a variety of music players. It is very strong and never fails me. The bold colors makes it very easy to find.

Over the years, I bought similar products that are much cheaper than the Apple ones. Unfortunately, the cheaper ones do not last nearly as long as the Apple ones. My biggest criticism is that I feel like I am paying more just for the Apple brand, but I think that can be said about all of Apple's products.

Appreciate the easy of running into Best Buy to purchase the official cable, no need to drive to the Apple Store.

So I wanted to get the apple cord. I haven't had any issues with the genuine cord made by apple for charging my phone and ipad.

works perfectly. had to buy this to go with my IPhone 6 lifeproof case as you cannot use any other cord to charge with this case.

I bought the Apple USB cord for my niece and she loves it. It is long enough to stand up and talk on the phone while it is charging.

I have the life proof case which means a lot of 3rd party chargers don't fit so I be as have an issue with the apple cables...

It's a very good idea to have multiple chargers if you are traveling. This way if you lose the only one you have you have back up.

Good price, no issues at all. It's wrapped up tightly in a circle and I having undone it yet. It still holds incredibly well.
