I've had bad luck with off brands of these cables for Apple products. These work every time. They sync and charge perfectly.

When your Apple cord breaks, don't do what I did - I bought a knock-off at first. Doing this nearly destroyed my phone, as the cord heated up and made my screen all wonky. You might wince at the cost of this cord, but it really is the best, and can take more abuse (twisting, shoving it in your bag, etc.) than any knock-off you'll find.

It’s just a cable. Well built, reasonable price. Always buy the “name” product and you will never go wrong.

no problems other then the fact that they stop working all the time, but I think it's a way for apple to make more money. LOL

Since I haven't found an off-brand cord that works nearly as well as the Apple-made cord, I have to recommend the real thing to anyone with an iPhone. However, I have consistently had trouble with the joint at the end of the cord that plugs into the phone - if you don't treat it with kid gloves (e.g. never bend it), it lasts about a year before the connection fails and it refuses to charge any longer. I also wish Apple would make this cord about three times as long as it currently is.

We had a bad experience with an aftermarket cable and will only use genuine Apple going forward. This cable works great.

Just got an iphone for travels to Australia. This cable works great to charge things up.

This Lightning to USB cord from Apple works better than any of the other knock off brands. Kudos to Best Buy for carrying it.

Heard that any other cable will not work as well as a genuine Apple cable. So I bought the Apple and have never had a problem

I bought several non-genuine cables that were $2-$3 each, however, within couple weeks to a month, those cables no longer wants to charge without fiddling with the cables. Also, the non-certified cables will have a pop up on your iPhone. So far this genuine cable work great, however, it is expensive, but at least it will last longer.
