There was always an issue (most charging accessories would not transfer data). I went with ol reliable and cable works great...I highly recommend using Apple accessories with your Apple tech.

Great But Too Thin

The 6' wire is a much thicker gage and does not kink and lasts. The 3' wire is is thin that it kink and you usually have to buy another one before the year is up, sometimes after 6 month. Can be costly. If your going to investing a wire get the 6' wire for $10 more it's worth the cost in the long run. Then spending another $19.99,
