    I hate that these iPhone cords break so easily requiring replacement, but the generic cords break even faster so they are not worth the cheaper price.

    I rate this cable 4 out of 5 stars. The reason it got 4 and not five stars is non of the lightening to USB cables tend to last long. I have tried multiple after market brands and they tend to not hold up as well or as long as the Apple brand. It's worth the extra $5 or so to buy the apple ones. The reason I rate it 4 stars is it simply does not last forever just longer.
