    It you know anything about Apple lightening cables, you should know that the life expectancy is about 6 months. My cable is pushing 3 months and so far - is working fine. Yes, I will recommend it.

    All apple products are 99% excellent right out of the box - this was no exception. You can certainly pay less for off brand accessories but they generally are not guaranteed to work nor be replaced if they are faulty in any way~!

    I've bought non Apple cables in a pinch but they always konk out after a while. When I can I replace with true Apple and they always work. The only reason I have to get new cables at all is because my family is rough on them hahaha.

    Getting an actual Apple brand charger is definitely more expensive but it does charge faster and work better when you are trying to sync your phone to your computer. Other brands take slower to charge and doesn't always work to sync.
