bought cheap cables online and they didn't last long before not working. better to pay more and get the right cable from the beginning. works great and no problems charging ipod

I had bought an after market cable that stopped working with my phone a month and a half later, so I needed a cable to charge my phone. It's working great a month later.

Apple brand cords are great in the beginning but once you see the turtle neck at the end of the cord the end is near and it's time to buy another cord. I'd buy no name brand cords but they won't work all the time with apples updates. In the end your stuck buying apple brand

Always buy cheap charger cables only for them to stop working in a couple months. It is so worth it to buy the little more expensive Apple charger cables.

I will only use an apple lightning cord. The other brands are just too fragile and do not hold up for more than a week. Definitely the only cord out there worth your money

Look to purchase a new cord since my original cord began to fall apart. I've had it for about a month now and appears to still be great. We will see how long it lasts.

Apple based products are always the best. With off brand cables they always error out and say they arent compatible and if you bump the cable even a little the they wont work

This one is left at work, for you know how you need to charge it. Always purchase this one for the knockoffs don't last as long for they don't have the and number of pins.

It's a great cable, overall. I keep several on hand, as I tend to subject my cables to a lot of wear & tear between travel and home. Still, it works well and lasts a few months before getting kinked or pinched in the lid of my center console - not the fault of the cable.
