I got tired of buying off brand chargers and figured price was the same for apple cord when you add price for all off brand chargers I've purchased that didn't last any length of time.

needed a spare charging cable for my iPhone X and the Apple cable is the only way to go if you want quality and longevity-lots of cables to choose from but only 1 by Apple!

According to Apple, third party cables work with their devices, but do not work with auto stopping the charging when your battery is at 100% Sticking with Apple cables for their devices.

This is the second Apple charger I've purchased. Apple chargers are the way to go so you don't waste your money on one's that your phone eventually won't recognize because they're not Apple.

I usually prefer to pay a little more for original items. On this case I love apple brand chargers because they dont fail or stop working like other brands. Worth it for the price

This Apple lightning cable is an excellent value! Apple products are always very reliable and durable; much better than 3rd party brands.

Made the mistake of buying cheap off-brand cord and got caught out of town when it just stopped working for no reason. Found a Best Buy locally and replaced it with Apple brand. You get what you pay for.

I'm really glad I went with the 3.3' in length for the cord. Its just enough size for a cord while charging your phone. Apple is the way to go vs. the knock off brands.

This is my second cable I bought in the last three years. The durability of them are great. My last one lasted about almost 2 years, with rough wear and tear from my kids using it as well.

As we all know, the cables just don't seem to last too long. I went with another brand last time and after my last iphone update it was no longer compatible. Went back to this one.

I've had issues with 3rd party lightning connectors that stop working after a while, but because this is an Apple-branded product, it will always work, so I highly recommend it.

The cord works great. Just have a hard time paying $20 for a charging cord.

If you own an Apple device with the Lightning connector, having more than 1 cord is almost essential and buying a real Apple cord that will actually last you is far better than buying a cheap knock-off!

I have found the "other" charging cables are unreliable and even dangerous to use. This one performs safely and I don't get warnings that the cable is overheating phone (yikes!)

Was going to go with a generic brand but knew the apple brand was a good product plus the generic required me to purchase two different products which would have cost more in the long run

You can always find much cheaper cords for your Apple products but then you run the risk of it not being fully compatible, and they truly just don't last. Not that these last forever, but they have the best record in my house....and we have gone through lots of Apple chargers.

I had been having all sorts of problems with CarPlay and other apps when using non-Apple cables; even once certified. Once I switched back to the Apple cable, no problems.

Yep they work. You plug one end into the usb and the other into your Apple and it charges it

Apple cords are notoriously delicate but I do not feel comfortable using an off brand. Went to Best Buy to get one, had a helpful employee point me in the right direction.

I only buy real Apple chargers because the fake ones never last and take forever too charge yourv device
