With the car stereo we have this was a perfect buy just long enough to put below stereo but short enough we weren't having to deal with tons of extra cord.

There is nothing like getting an apple brand product for your apple products. I had to finally purchase one sine the genetic brands give up after a few months.

we have bought many knock offs trying to save money but they will never compare to buying the real thing. you can't go wrong with an actual apple product

I purchased the aftermarket version and it only lasted a couple of months. I went back to the original Apple cord as the last one purchased lasted 3 years!

I've purchased cheap nock offs that failed to last or even function. I recommend buying well made approved gear for your delicate electronic equipment.

Love it because it never disappoints. Sometimes I use "fake" Chargers and sometimes a notification pops up and won't let me charge my phone. This always works!

I had a non-Apple off-brand cord for my car charger and it stopped working. They wires weren't frahed, it wasn't an old cord, so I decided to spend the extra money to get the actual Apple cord (because that's why I use for my walk charger and I have no problems with it). And it was money well worth it because now my phone consistently charges and it does so quickly.

If you only like using Apple branded products like myself than the official cable is a no brainier. I got mine on sale cheaper than off brand products.

Works as advertised. No surprises when buying Apple gear from Best Buy. I don't have to worry about getting some off brand cable from some unknown 3rd party.

It's better to pay the few bucks extra to get this standard Apple power supply. Previously bought the off brand and they only charge about 30% of the time.

I'm a Mac user and IPhone lover so Apple brand products are a desire and necessity, It's nice not to have to go to an Apple store and make an appointment !

I hate paying $20 for a power cord, but I have not had good luck with generic power cords. The Apple cord is by far the best, however it is the most expensive option. The generic cords do not always fit when a case is installed, and they fail quickly.

I had a USB cable (not apple) that was malfunctioning but when I bought the apple USB cable for my I phone I have not had problems with my apple USB cable.

Cord works great replaced a cord that was not identifying my iPhone and I bought the previous cord at apple and it wasnt recognizing my phone... Go figure!

I have a lifeproof case for my iphone. The only lightning cable that fits with the case on is an Apple. All non Apple brands I have tried do not fit!

My wife bought an off brand charging cord it didn’t last long.This cord is what you need to last and do the job.It is worth the price.

My original lighting cable had begun to fray on the phone connection end and it'd seen a lot of wear and tear so I picked up a replacement. Simple and done.
