although it is expensive this charger does have warranty. i also feel like my phone charges faster with the original than off brand chargers.

Was trying to use discount brand cables for my iPhone X and those would not charge my phone. Using the Apple cable solves the issue.

My original charging cord stopped working. So I purchased this replacement and it works just like the original. No delayed charging.

The price used to be close to 20 dollars but has come down to under 15. I always try to buy the Apple-brand cable because the Apple cables will automatically stop charging your phone once it reaches a full charge, since there's a protective circuit built in to the cable. A store salesman at the AT&T store once told me the cheap off-brand charging cables often don't do this, and overcharging can cause the battery to overheat, swell, and in extreme cases even catch on fire. Not something you want to take a chance on happening.

Consider getting the warranty. As the chargers don't seem to last long.

There is nothing like getting the Apple brand original. What are you buying? Peace of mind that an off brand cord won't break your iPhone.

Great cable compared to knock off brands. Just wish it was more durable.

This cable works very well, but is rather expensive. I purchased the AC USB charger for my new iPad Pro, but was disappointed that for the price it didn't include the USB cable, so that's what prompted me to purchase this cable.

I thoight a normal charge took 4 hours, but when we got the lightning cord, my ipad charged in 2 hours and it was down to 24%. Well worth the price

I have bought a lot of the non-Apple chargers and some don't even last a couple of months. The Apple brand lasts longer than the other brands.
