Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'll be the first to tell you that I've tried the less expensive alternative versions of this product that claim to be made of stronger material to hold up from breaking down prematurely. That might be the case but they don't always last in their charging capability. After making that mistake on more than one occasion, I now stick with OEM replacement cables for Apple products. It bothers me that they don't last as long as I'd like but when they are operable, there's nothing that performs as well as they do. Imposters don't cut it.
