A decent product

They last for a while but do eventually get frayed near the end the connects to the phone, so you may have to get a replacement every couple of years but it does the job.

Needed a new cord....

After a few months they're normally no good. The white coating always breaks away from the end and exposes the wires. Then it eventually just stops working all together. I've found that buying non-Apple cords only work temporarily. After a few weeks I normally get a message saying its not an "approved accessory". The Apple cord is fine when it's functional, but I wish Apple would make them more durable to last as long as the product it's charging. With my reward points, I was excited to only pay $5 for this one versus $20.
