The part of the original cable that plugs into the phone developed a small crack in the housing which produced some small, occasional irregularities in the functioning of the phone during usage.

Another charging cord

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave this cord an average review on price because it is a pricey $19.99 for a a simple short cord that is NOT durable in the sense that it can take a lot of 'bending' or the outer plastic will start to wear down quickly.This is the reason for this purchase as a 'replacement' for the original cord.I've just advised my 12 year old daughter to be mindful of her use of this cord and to try and make it last .

Original cable replacement
