    I switched to wireless charging after years of replacing these lightning cables every 3-6 months. Also noticed a fresh cable works great and then gets harder and harder to use every few weeks until it doesn't work any longer.

    Tried an off brand cord and they just don’t last and stand up to the kids ripping them out of the phone and iPad like the Apple version does.
