This chord is a great chord for the effective rate at which it charges and the durability of the product.

Just like any other apple charger better to buy one here and be apple original than those other ones that chatge slow. This one charges my phone very fast!

I reluctantly went back to apple cables after a few other brand ones . Some last a short time, some last years. I got tired of trying to pick the best ones, and went back to apple - I figure paying the premium price should amount to a reliable cable.

Very durable, perfect length for use in my car and semi. I like that it is white so it is easy to find. I like that a can plug this into my stereo and play anything my phone has on it. I have a couple of these for spares incase I forget one at home.

Having purchased third party there is no comparison to the quality of Apple’s charging cable. These last way longer. You may pay less but you will end up paying more third party. Plus when third party fails it’s always when you need it most to work.

If you need a cord for your apple products for anything but simply charging it, (even if you use the product while charging it) you need an apple approved cord, otherwise it won't work correctly. They are more expensive than other generic lighting cords, but worth the money if you need it.
