I'm not sure how many of these I've purchased over the last decade. Most I give away to friends who lose or wear-out their cables. I tend to take care of them, coiling them and putting them in a ziplock in my travel bag, so for me they last indefinitely. Once they break, I can usually fix them once, soldering the conductors and finishing with two layers of heat shrink...some of those become my favourite cables as they never break again, and are now color-coded! Still, I'm not sure that's a ringing endorsement for the original quality, given their cost. There is an IC chip in the Lightning end of the cable, which causes the connector on that end to warm-up. Given this heat and the small mass of the connector, it eventually breaks. You can help prevent this but not leaving your devices plugged-in longer than needed to charge or transfer images, etc. Coil the cable up. Don't sit on it. It's a cable...they will wear out over time. I just wish the OEM version was a little less expensive. The mass production of these over the last decade still has not lead to the normal 'bathtub curve' of cost reduction, as with most mature products. Also, I've used several after-market cables which are just as reliable, although I like the rubberized outer jacket of this cable, as it just seems to want to coil itself. Generally, I recommend friends buy at least a couple of OEM Apple cables, perhaps one 3' (1m) and one 6' (2m).

Charges my phone very quickly and it is durable . I am writing this review a year later and still use this charge.

This is a quality charging cable. The long length allows you to move and use the item while it charges. It can be use to charge iPhone or iPad.

True Apple produce that outlasts all of the cheaper knock off types of cords. Charges faster also. Have bought about 4 of these so far. You get what you pay for as these cost more than other brands. Would recommend to anyone interested in quality cord.

Nice little charger that I bought strictly for the use in my truck. Small length allows for not too much space taken up and the lighting cord enables quick charges. Malleable and easy to manipulate. Cord is not easily broken.

Quality is good, easy to use. It is the same as the one comes with the phone.

I love apple products. Yes they are expensive but you pay for quality & reliable products. Every apple related items I've purchased have last forever. This cable is no exception. Charges really fast and if you take care of it it will last a while.

I was met by an employee as I walked into the department area told her what I wanted. She took me to the product asked me a few questions and pick the product. I got home, hook it up, plugged it in and charged my iPhone. I also talk to her about a back up camera for my pick up truck. She gave me all the information and I will return and make an appointment to get that done. She was very knowledgeable and very easy to talk with.

The usb works great and it last for more than a year

It helped get all those little electrons get out of the wall and into my phone. Well, I assumed it did, since I couldn't actually see them going from the wall into the phone. I wonder if it was clear and not white if I would be able to see those electrons? Does anyone really know what they look like and how they getinto the wall in the first place?

Great Apple USB charging cable for the front passenger seat. It’s neat and tidy. Easy to put away. Apple is trustworthy and reliable. Charges quickly and efficiently.

Good quality charging cord. Easy to find and easy to put into use.

Easy to deploy. You definitely need an original lightning cable from Apple if you want your vehicle’s CarPlay to even have a chance of working at all. Using replacement lightning cables definitely is not the way to go

Apple Chargers always work. Of course you will need to replace this at some point.

best chargers, charge quickly, great length for car and durable does not fray/ rip. Worth the extra money rather buying a bunch of cheaper ones ( which I have done many time over the years)
