This purchase was for a charging station where the unit being charged sits in a slot on the station, therefore a shorter cable would have been perfect.

Apple USB cord

I would always recommend using Apple certified original products as we have used many of the knockoffs and they work at first and then just stop working.

Longer replacement

Hopefully the longer cable will be spared from the guillotine mechanism of the chair, only time and lack of charging will tell.

Apple lightening cable

It should have lasted as long as the phone has. But, it was good to have a new one that doesn’t have bare wires exposed. Good customer service at Best Buy.
