    This is just what it supposed to be. Simple USB cable to lightning plug for iPhone and iPad. Usually have to replace one every year or so, because they wear out where the rubber boot is at end of cord, by connector.

    The lightning USB Cable was suitable for my need. Purchased another brand and the product overheated. Purchased this project and was it was suitable for my car need. Charged up was a little slow.
