    I bought the new iPhone 11MAX and wanted the new cable. I noticed the cable I had (not Apple) was starting to fray around the plug Didn't want to take a chance of damaging my new phone so discarded the old one. The new one looks much better quality.

    These cables are durable and you know you aren’t going to get an error message or ruin your phone when using them. I have bought the non-Apple cables and those can be ok too as long as you buy a better quality brand like Anker. So stock up when these are on sale and then you will be ready when the inevitable happens ...

    Good, it could have been a bit cheaper since it's an additional one we have to purchase after buying iPhone 11, so it's basically extra unnecessary stuff we have to buy after purchasing iPhone 11.

    The length is long enough that I can set my iPad on a safe, stable surface away from the plug and floor. It’s a bit too short to work on the iPad while it’s charging, but it’s a tradeoff I’m ok with.
