    This cable does not need a long description other than why risk your phone battery trying to cut corners on the price of a charging cable. I buy apple charging cables because I have had cheap cables that have damaged my battery and damaged my phone, so I do not take the risk.

    I just wish Apple would change the design of the plug. I am tired of buying these because the wire are exposed and it won't charge. They need to do a side plug like on my Nook.
