This purchase was for a charging station where the unit being charged sits in a slot on the station, therefore a shorter cable would have been perfect.

Longer replacement

Hopefully the longer cable will be spared from the guillotine mechanism of the chair, only time and lack of charging will tell.

Apple USB cord

I would always recommend using Apple certified original products as we have used many of the knockoffs and they work at first and then just stop working.
