I've tried several of these from "other" suppliers from the internet and Amazon. Originals from Apple seem to be the best.

The cord is too short for my ipad and my iphone so i purchased a longer cord.

Am glad Best Buy carries accessories for Apple devices. I have tried to use the "off brands" and they do not do as well.

left the floor a little wetter than I would like. Maybe I didn't use it right, but now, a few weeks after first use, the carpet looks dirty again. The machine IS relatively easy to use, and fits well in our closet, so I'll try it again soon.

Typical apple where you’re lucky if the cord lasts for a year even when you take care of it. Does the job until it breaks, over priced for the short life you get out of it.

Was surly when my other cords stopped charging, but I wouldn’t use anything f different to guarantee the service required.

I purchased this item. It was in a Apple box locked in the Apple case. However, I looked on the Apple website as to how to verify you have purchased a genuine Apple charging cable. According to Apple: An Apple Lightning to USB cable has "Designed by Apple in California" and either "Assembled in China," "Assembled in Vietnam," or "Indústria Brasileira" on the cable about seven inches from the USB connector. You'll see a 12-digit serial number at the end of this text. The item I purchased had none of this so it was obviously a counterfeit item being sold as a genuine Apple product.

I purchased this charger years ago. I needed a long on so I wasn’t confined to a small area while charging.

I will only ever buy actual Apple cables for my Apple products. Needed a new one since mine got frayed at the end near the connection.

After buying a lot of off brand cords and them only working for a few weeks I decided to buy apple cord, luckily was on sale.

Would prefer to find a charger wire that is less expensive and doesn’t fray at the tip after a few months but still knowing that it’s the proper wire for my phone is better than taking a chance on ruining it with a third party cable in my opinion.

Best purchase ever so glad I got it on sale. No regrets

This may be too short for regular use at home or work, but it’s great to carry in their pockets when they have a portable charger.
