They do charge well, but have to replace them every 6-12 months depending where you use them. In the car is the worst. I wish Apple would do something about the cable coming lose from the side you put in your electronics. A reinforcement or something.

Apple - 3.3' Lightning to USB Cable

However, in my experience, the Apple Lightning to USB Cable product always has less issues down the road, than a non-OEM product (e.g., intermittent on/off, etc.). Only wish they lasted longer (i.e., tear at the joints).
