Good charger…the quality is better than other brands and doesn’t break as easily as other brands. This one does take longer than the lightening cable to charge your phone though.

Original Apple cables have never failed me. They may seem overpriced and the cable thin but they work. I made the mistake of buying some aftermarket cables once that had this nice, big, thick braided jacket. The oversized connectors wouldn't work with my iPhone's case opening. In addition, both aftermarket cables simply failed after a couple of years use. When treated with respect I have never yet had an Apple cable fail.

Apple products are pricey but better quality than non-branded items. If you take good care of even non-brand items, they can last long. Apple products just last longer. Don't leave the cable in extreme heat or cold - thats what messes it up.

The cable is the same as everyone gets when they get a new iPhone or with any device that uses the Lighting port to charge. Pros: It connects to my Apple Carplay fast and runs with no problem. Always ensure that you are getting your money's worth as it allows you to charge with no worry and transfers data from your phone to any computer. The length is a perfect size, not too long, not too short. Cons: Can become very dirty if you lay it around on the floor or just placing it in dirty places, but you can clean it up by just using rubbing alcohol wipes. The material is also silicon, making it more vulnerable to different elements that can break the cable.

Insignia is Best Buy’s brand, but don’t think that means the quality is lacking. Insignia brings you as good or better that’s the brand name products. These chargers last me way longer than the apple ones and they work better. They are fast charging, and.... keep your box and receipt because if they break within the year, you can take them back to the store for an exchange!! The 15 day policy does not apply to the warranty.
