    I've bought dozens of non-Apple cords (all that are Apple Mfi) that end up not working or they stop working after a couple of months. So, while the Apple cord is more expensive (I got this on sale so not bad) it is worth the extra cost to ensure it works. IF they could make a braided version that is more durable it would be much appreciated.
