Decided to go name brand and it works way better. Generics kept coming up not charging. With my IPad, name brand is best way to go.

Apple USB Cable

My old cable in the car was "bad". The Apple brand name cords last much longer than others. The 3.3 ft cable is much better for the space in a car.

The gold standard in lightning!

I can’t begin to say how many other cords have fallen flat or didn’t perform up to Apple’s standards.

I had been using an after market cords for Car Play with my iPhone but that cord stopped working for Car Play. So far I've had no issues with this cord.
