As this is an Apple product you expect a standard of quality which this meets. However its length is perfect for adding it to the car to support Apple CarPlay integration with the Pioneer console we added to my son's car. Great purchase!

Original Apple cables have never failed me. They may seem overpriced and the cable thin but they work. I made the mistake of buying some aftermarket cables once that had this nice, big, thick braided jacket. The oversized connectors wouldn't work with my iPhone's case opening. In addition, both aftermarket cables simply failed after a couple of years use. When treated with respect I have never yet had an Apple cable fail.

I bought this cable to charge my older model iPhone in my newer model truck and it does the job perfectly. What more can you say about the 3.3 foot cable with a USB-A at one end and a lightning connector at the other? Plug it in, start the truck and it charges my phone--thank you!
