I used to buy cheap charging cables--and you get EXACTLY what you pay for them. After getting a few months from my last ones, I decided to pay the extra and get the vendor's charging cable. I have had this cable for 2 years and it still functions well and has no visible wear on the outside coating of the cable.

I was still using the original cord that came with my iPhone, purchased in 2014. Several years ago, the cord split, and the wires were exposed. I cut a plastic straw to fit over the split, and then wrapped the entire area with duct tape. It worked well, but when I received the email regarding the low sale price of a new cord, I immediately ordered 2 . It’s so much easier, and probably a lot safer to use than the one with exposed wires. I know you can buy no name charging cords for little money, but I prefer to use Apple cords with Apple products.

I purchased an Apple 3.3 USB Type A-to-Lightning Charging Cable - White. to charge my i phone at night while sleeping It has been a great success and charges my i phone every night with a 100% charge by morning!

Always buy apple brand, just works better and less issues. Definitely recommend to stick with theirs, tried others and they usually burn out or just stop working after a few months, not worth the money saved, better to get this.

This item works as advertised and was clutch when I forgot my charging cable at home. This cable lives at work and I don't have to worry about not being able to charge my phone.

Believe it or not it’s been over a year and this thing still charges. Very pleased with Apple for this. This is usually not the case for me with teenagers in the household.

just came to get a replacement power cord for iPad, As I arrived My favorite Store Representative Shane Daily was already reserved with people, I was looking to purchase an IMAC and there where several on sale. Shane saw me and asked if I'm waiting for him? I said too many people, but he insisted to place me in queue, but to continue shopping. when it was my turn, he checked on all possibilities. Since I was unsure to buy now, I decline to purchase, even though he was very persuasive. I will wait until the new versions come out in a few months. I needed a new charger and have bought the off brand ones but they only last a month or two and then you need a new one again. I decided enough is enough and just paid the little more for the TRUE APPLE charger and am so happy I did. It’s been working great and I think in the long run I will save money. Don’t cheap out on an off brand charger! Get the real deal!

I originally purchased for my car, then realized that they made a shorter version. I ended up keeping this as a “guest” charger if they are in my car with me. Or if I forget a charger going somewhere. As a confirmation, this 3.3’ (or 1m) cable is identical to the one that comes with the iPhones 5, 6, 7, 8, X and 11 (USB A to lightning).
