    The sanctioned apple product. Works with the phone. No fancy lights. Does not shut off charge when at 100%, so can overcharge the battery and reduce its capacity. This cable is prone to fray and break near the connecting ends. However, the phone recognizes this cable and its functionality.

    I always try to buy accessories from the parent company and that was my motivation. My only complaint is the cable is fragile and will wear out sooner than I would hope for.

    Glad Best But carries Apple products to make replacement easier . I do wish Apple would make these chargers stronger as the one I replaced was only two years old
