Get it while on sale

I'd usually get a third party one cause of the price but those eventually would not work or would show "this accessory is not supported." These ones from Apple are somewhat expensive but of course they get the job done. Just get these while they're on sale for $10. Great for charging, syncing photos and music to the computer, and tethering for personal hotspot.

I have an iPhone and needed a replacement for the charging cord that came with the phone. The cable I have is becoming frayed. Apple tried to solve the fraying problem by reinforcing the portion that connects to the phone, but the result is it just frays farther down. This is a great replacement, but it will fray eventually...

This one does take longer than the lightening cable to charge your phone though.
