Not much to say about a cord. It would be surprising if it didn't work, but it does. Probably could have gotten an off-brand and saved some money but the price wasn't that much different so we chose the Apple product.

Nothing beats an Apple branded cable. Works perfect all the time and durable.

This is a standard apple charging/data cord. I only buy Apple branded cords because of the technology that is imbedded into the cord.

For the love of God people, whatever you do, by the Apple branded lightning cables. In the past I have tried to save money and bought aftermarket “Apple certified“ lightning cables which Have done nothing but fry my batteries. I know that these things are expensive and you pay the Apple price no matter where you get them but, if you want your phones battery to last as long as it can and not suffer any damage apple only lightning cables plus adapters are the way to go. That is just the way of life.

This is an Apple lightning cable that will not run into any of the compatibility problems that third-party cables can. It works out of the box, like a charm. The problem, and the reason this is not 5 stars is that the cable does not wear well, especially near the lightning connector. The cable wears, will crack over time and will ultimately fail. Planned obsolescence at its best. Still, while it lasts, this is as good as it gets.

This is an actual Apple product, and as we know, Apple products don't come cheap. If you're in the market for a charging cable I recommend buying online and either having it delivered or picking up in store. At my store it was a little hard to find because it wasn't with the other cell phone accessories or cables that Apple will eventually call unsupported and not let you use anymore.

Most chargers dont last long. I had one of these for years before having to replace.
