    I was using a no-name USB power cable to charge my iPad. I switched to an Apple cable and the charge time is almost twice as fast as the previous cable.

    My old cable was twisted from wrapping it around a battery charger and we had just purchased a new car that came with USB ports. I love that I can keep my phone fully charged while traveling.

    I needed a replacement charging cord, at first I though it was too short, length is perfect..had to replace because plastic was unraveling...maybe something to look out for in the future, I have to replace another one!

    I used to get cheap charging cords online and it messed up my last iPhone so bad that it would not charge at all. The cheap ones mess up your charging port. Buy this one from Apple and you will never have that problem.
