Went to Best Buy, I was in and out quick, totally worth the $20.

Apple overprices their accessories but they engineer it so that generic cords don't always work with their phones.

Good Apple cable for IPhone

I like the cable but it’s not a good price. This cable costs double the price of a generic one. The quality of the cable is slightly better than a generic but wears out in the same place on every Apple cable that we have.
