    I don't know why, however all of the non-Apple branded cords don't seem to hold up as well as the Apple branded cords. The price could be cut by about half and this would get a 5 star rating from me.

    Now the connections for the new iPhones have changed, it’s always prudent to have an extra cable. I’m so glad that the Apple cables are so easily accessible for purchase now. Even in the past I’ve used clone products I had issues, including damage to my phone. I’m so happy that the Apple Products are readily available!
