It's ridiculous that they can't last not even year. No wonder Apple is a trillion dollar company, we have to purchase new one every now and then.

I take this cable specifically for use when I'm on the go for work travel. Having the extra cable length helps, especially, for that one time you really need it. You know what I'm talking about(;

Hard to find

Too many aftermarket copies that just don't perform as described. Cheaper, of course, but you get what you pay for. 4 star rating due to the cable strain relief at the phone end, which eventually will crack and expose the wire, which is why I bought a replacement.

Great replacement cable for iphone charger.
