Yhis item works fine. I have purchased a few ans they all seem to last just long enough. But they do break based on your use.

Works as it should but not that inexpensive. The old nonapple cords I had stopped working after a software update from Apple? Only Apple cords work now?

The right length for use in charging cell phones. It's the Goldie Locks version of a charging cable, not too short and not too long, just right.

Charges slow, a lot slower than my old apple charger which I may just go back to using even though the cord is frayed. I actually noticed the battery percentage go DOWN while charging if I used it during. Useless.

Definitely, you need to purchase the OEM apple cable for your iPod, iPad needs, not a generic cable that could affect your device or not work in the long term.

The chargers never last me very long. Always breaking at the end.
