    Definitely worth the money to use an Apple product to keep your phone charge. Any substitute I've used in the past only lasts for a short period of time.

    Do yourself a favor and don't skimp on a REAL OEM Apple cable. I wish they didn't charge so much but the knock offs will damage your phone over time

    I learned the hard way that after market chargers Just don’t do the job. Tried to save a lil money and ended up stranded without a phone when my cheap charger failed out of the blue. So now I keep an extra charger in my purse/briefcase and in the car. #lessonlearned

    Recurrent problems with non-apple lightning cables ... going Apple is the best way to go. Apple certified doesn't equate to the real Apple!

    I would spend the extra on the apple cord, instead of cheaper cords that either won’t work or connect at all with your Apple devices.

    I was looking everywhere for an actual Apple cord and finally found it! Don’t bother with cheap cords from a gas station; they’ll damage your phone.

    Yup it's a cord, yup it charges. 3.3 ft isn't as long as you hope for but the 6 footer is obnoxiously long. So the choice is yours.
