    The cable does what it's supposed to do, until it doesn't. Apple's peripherals are notorious for how cheaply they're made, and this is no exception. I can't count how many of these I've gone through in the last few years, and all they do is get plugged into the car's dashboard during trips and then removed when the trip is over. It's not like I'm jumping rope with these things or trying to pull them apart. They do charge fast, though.
