Purchased this wire for the ability to fast-charge my iPhone 8 Plus. Pleasantly surprised as the wire (when connected to a 30w power adapter) charges the phone even faster than what Apple claims. I can go from about 10% to 100% in a little under an hour. Very pleased with this purchase and intend to buy a few more. Only downside is the USB-C connection does require an adapter if you don't have USB-C on your computer, in your car, etc.

I bought this cable along with a new iPad usb charger. Its very inconvenient that the cable is sold separately and that its so expensive. Other than the pricing the product is very good.

If you want to enable fast charging on your newly acquired 8/8+ this is needed. Apple tax is hard to swallow, but this cable seems to be thicker & made to last longer than the standard cable

This wire allows fast charging with iPhone X with a 27watt base from anker. Durable and long lasting.

While there are cheaper cables out there this is the only one I’ve found out now that will enable 3amp charging. If you have the 12.9 iPad consider upgrading to usb c charging.

Thank Apple for not including fast charge accessories.This will probably fall apart after a year or two. Why not include better warranty with these overpriced accessories?

These are much sturdier than the old Apple USB to Lightning cables, which often wore out much too easily. So far this is working great, and the connections to either end of the cable feel much more solid than the old cables did. They're much stiffer and seem less likely to wear from normal cable use. This also charges my IPad Pro 12.9" cable when I use the 29w MacBook USB-C Macbook charger with it.. Excellent purchase!

Really like this cable, works perfectly and the best thing, my kids cannot take it from me to use it for their ipods since it has to be plugged into a USB-C plug lol.

This works perfectly since it's an Apple product. I wish it was not so expensive though, for the length. It is hard to find a longer length by Apple, was not available in-store.

I cannot believe I knew how to live before I bought this cable. I mean, it was bad enough that I had to forage for electricity to charge my iPhone, but, then to sit there and WAIT FOR IT? Sometimes for HOURS? The speed at which this cable helps relay that sweet electric juice to my beloved pocket computer has invigorated my daily routine and and make the glow of its screen that much more inviting.

I have an Apple DVD/CD player that I use with my Apple MacBook Mac. When I got my new laptop this December, I needed a dongle to connect my DVD/CD player to my laptop. Because this is an older connection, UBS-A, the Hub that I bought didn't work with the DVD/CD player. But this cable works perfectly, plus it can charge my iPhone 8+ & my iPad 10.5. This is a necessary item for my DVD/CD player.

I use this cord with my 29W USB-C Power Adapter to quickly charge my iPad pro. Works great!

In short, its fine its an Apple official cable so you know it works. Wish they were cheaper and more durable (like braided nylon cables) but its no different than your USB-A to Lightning cable (regular iPhone charging cables). I read a few reviews (iMore has a great one) that compared fast charging speeds for iPhone 8's and X's. They reported that not only a good charging power block but the cables make a speed difference. The highest speed was Apple's cable. I may get the 2nd place one as well, as its probably half price but getting an open-box option made me get Apple for now.

This cable works just like the one that comes with the iPhone just longer which helps so you have enough slack that it isn't falling behind the dresser.

Exactly what I needed and works perfectly with the Apple Charger for fast charging my iPad Pro and iPhone 8 Plus. Just wish it cost much less.

This works as good as you would expect it to. It is just the standard Apple cord like the ones that come with the product when you buy it.
