I got this adapter as an open box item. Like most other open box stuff I get it was like new, only cheaper. I use this cable for charging my iPhone, trackpad, and keyboard. I haven't had any problems with it.

Great product how ever a bit pricey for a piece of cable.

I liked this so much when I bought it I got 2 more for my (adult) children for Christmas. While it's nifty and all, I do not think it charges as well as other (better quality) cables. Mainly bought due to apple battery issues. My daughter told me on more than 1 occasion, it did not charge her phone fully overnight...

I have the 2016 MacBook Pro 15 with touchbar. I have become "dongle master". I needed the cable in order to charge the iPhone 7Plus. Seems you need a cable for almost everything with the new MacBook Pro.

Works great, but not required. I bought this cable to avoid having to use an adapter with my new MacBook Pro. It was strictly for convenience. If you carry a USB-C to USB adapter, you don't need this.

The cable is an Apple product so its brand will say it all. With the length of 2m, it's really convenient to charge and use it at the same time if the power outlet is far from where you're at.

My only complaint is that Apple should include this with the purchase of new MacBook Pro's. You will need this cable to charge your phone by plugging into the USB-C port on these computers.

when getting the new MacBook Pro you'll need this to charge or sync phone. and is short enough it will not take up a lot of space. just wish apple would come out with more colors.

Necessary to sync a current version apple iPhone / iPod / iPad to one of the new computers equipped only with USB C type plug in sockets. Good quality original equipment Apple cable.

I just purchased a new Macbook Pro with the new, smaller USB ports Can't say I'm happy that all my previous cords don't fit anymore, but this new cord was reasonable and does the job.

Saw this on sale, so I pounced on it! I use this one in the my living room so I don’t have to keep moving my charger around. Lazy I know, but hey whatever works right,!?!

Another item to carry with you if you need to charge or connect your iPhone or iPad to the new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Aside from that a great product with great build quality.

Not much to say about this one but it works great. Connect your iPad or iPhone (or newer iPod) to your MacBook (2015 or newer) or MacBook Pro (2016 or newer), without an adapter.

It's a must have. Plugs right in with ease of the USB-c port then you can plug into any lightning plugs. So if you have other apple products I would highly suggest this item.

I bought this for my MacBook 2016 and it works perfectly as described. And best of all, I can continue to charge my MacBook while connecting to other peripherals and monitors.

My experience has been issue free. I found an app that lets me use my iPad as a second display to my MacBook, and I wanted a direct connection between the two

I needed a cable to connect my new mac air book pro to my iPhone and it works as expected. Just a bit frustrating when cable styles change when new models are released.
