However, the price at Best Huy is competitive. Got this to be able to charge my iPhone 11 Pro Max with a 18W charger. Does a good job, would suggest if you can fast charge your phone.

It looks like it is but I don't have a definitive result. Just personal evaluation. It is still slightly flimsy like most Apple cables but it matches well with everything else.

But if you do want to use the charging capabilities to the max on your iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X, this charging cable along with the adapter will do it.
