Well, an Apple branded cable is a good bet. Sometimes aftermarket cables have issues. Very pricey for 3 feet, at $20, since Apple's cables are made to look cool, more so than to be sturdy. Step on it, or trip and yank your Ipad on the floor once, and you've probably ripped the jacket where it joins the connector--the beginning of the end (and the reason for the purchase). But be careful with it, and the cable will perform well, for the life of your device.

The real Apple cables always work better and longer with Apple products. Worth the extra cost.

The charger and connecting cord were Christmas gift formy son. We had dinner recently and my granddaughter constantly uses his pho e (she doesn'thave a phone becauseshe's9 years old) he sat in my car after dinner hoping he could charge his phone for a few minutes. It wasn't working, he has an iPhone and i have Android! At that moment it light bulb turned on and i knew he needed a portable phone charger. His kids steal the chargers. So I learned, glad i don't have that problem!

I liked this cable as it is usb-c and thus transfers enough power to charge my ipad pro without issue. The length is sufficient to reach from my pc on the floor to my desk (while still being able to adjust the angle of the ipad pro).
