I purchased these as a gift and they worked perfectly. The only negative comment is that you cannot purchase cards in individual $10 increments.

I began purchasing these cards in lieu of direct purchases from the apple store because I could apply my rewards points to them. Redeeming them is as simple as copying the code from an email and pasting it into my iTunes dialog box which instantly adds the amount to my apple store balance. Buying music digitally forgoes the expense and trouble of possessing physical media. THe only drawback to this is that the bitrate is lower than I would like it to be.
