I rather use iTunes cards then having a credit card on file.

We use the ninja everyday and have not had any issues with it.

Best Buy had the exact cards I wanted and they shipped them to me very quickly! I had them in two days. I was very pleased, and super proud I didn't have to get out amongst the busy crowds! Ha!

This is by far the easiest to use and highest quality gift card, I've ever purchased. You can't go wrong! To use its as easy as taking a picture and boom your money is now in the App Store. Why waste the space in your wallet and waiting for the cashier to (heaven forbid) swipe your gift card? When you can just use your phone.

I find iTunes cards useful even for one's self in lieu of spending credit cards, to avoid long lists of micropayments on statements. In one lump $50 sum, one can prevent half a page of $1 to $5 purchases of everything from apps, in-app purchases, music, TV episodes, and so forth. It's a convenient way of keeping books tidy.

I frequently give these to family for Christmas or birthdays, but they also come in handy to pay for subscriptions you have linked to your iTunes account. Apple will draw from your giftcard balance before taking from your checking account that’s associated with your iTunes account.
