I like using the iTunes gift card because you don’t have to used your debit or credit card to purchase music, or Videos.

I purchased an iTunes gift card. This purchase can always be used as a last minute gift or a gift to a teenager or the teenager-at heart.

I purchase these from time to time to fund my iTunes account. To me, it's better than giving iTunes access to a credit card or bank account.

This is great because you don't have to worry about charges after the fact. If your like me and don't want to keep charging my credit card.
