The is the NEW 45w Magsafe 2 adapter for MacBook Air. Save yourself a headache and make sure your MBA uses the Magsafe "2" and not the original Magsafe with the "L" connector that attaches to your laptop. This one has a wider connector and will not fit in Macbook Airs made prior to appx. June 2012 (not exactly sure when the change occured). At the time of this writing, no photo for this item was available on BestBuy.com and I did not realize they had changed the connectors and had to return this one because it simply would not fit my late 2011 MBA.

It works good! It gives an estimated charge time but is done charging soon before that.

It is exactly the tight cord . It arrived quickly . No problems.

My old MAC cable was fraying, and this replacement piece worked as intended. Make sure you have the correct wattage for your MAC before purchasing.

Go with the Mac brand. Cheaper versions do not work.

As with other Apple power cables for laptops they break easily

This is the third time i have to purchase this adapter and i have no choice since it's made for the apple computers. The cable chips easily,cracks and brakes all the time. Hate it. But, there is no other choice
