    I like my Apple products, but buying power adapters is definitely a pain point. MagSafe is cool and all, but $80 bucks for some wire, plastic box and a magnet is crazy.

    This will be my second replacement adapter for my MacBook Air and each of them have had the same issues. The casing on the wire frays and eventually it stops charging. I put electrical tape over the holes, but that only slows down the issue. Picked a new one up recently and it started to fray within a week. For the money I spent, I wish it held up a little better.
