It works well. The magnet holds and it powers the phone. A bit pricy for what it is, but usual Apple markup on this sort of thing.

Did not want/need extension cord

I needed another power cord for my office. I'm annoyed that I could not buy just the power cord. The package was very expensive and now I have not 1 but 2 very expensive extension cords that I do not expect to ever use.
